International Maarif Schools, Islamabad, is proud to present its Zero Waste Drive — a student-led initiative dedicated to fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainable living. Inspired by the vision of a cleaner, greener future, our students have worked tirelessly to design and showcase innovative projects centered on upcycling, recycling, and reusing everyday materials. From transforming discarded items into works of art and functional objects, to developing systems for responsible waste sorting and material recovery, each project reflects the creativity, dedication, and ecological consciousness of our young learners.
It is a profound honor to present this initiative before Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye, Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, whose unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and the global Zero Waste Movement has inspired millions around the world. Her visionary leadership in championing waste reduction continues to guide communities, schools, and nations toward a more sustainable path. We hope that the efforts displayed here today stand as a humble reflection of those values — and as a promise from the next generation to protect and preserve our planet for years to come.
